Wet Felted Bowls/Sculptures
Learn to wet felt using wool roving, hot water, and soap to create a unique 3D sculpture that could be used as a decorative bowl or piece of art. Angelina & silk fibres will also be available to combine with the wool. Colour blending and making holes will also be taught. |
Wet Felted Flowers
Learn to mix colours & fibres to create vibrant and unique wet felted flowers that can be used as decorations or turned into a brooch. You will have the opportunity to make at least 2 large flowers and 1 small flower during this class. |
Wet Felted & Needle Felted 2D Art
A unique class that combines both wet felting and needle felting to make a piece of art to hang on your wall. You will learn how to wet felt wool roving using hot water and soap. Then you will learn how to needle felt on top of your piece to make a detailed piece of art. Beads, thread, silk, and angelina fibres will also be available to embellish your piece. |
Wet Felted & Needle Felted Dragonflies & Butterflies
Using matawa silk pieces and wool roving You will learn how to wet felt onto silk webs/matawa silk using wool roving, hot water and soap to create delicate wings. The body will be needle felted out of wool roving and the insect can then be turned into a brooch or sewn onto a bag, etc. |
Wet Felted Beads
Learn to wet felt round beads using layers of colour and a jelly roll cord of wool roving using your hands, soap and hot water to create interesting beads that can be strung into a piece of jewellery. |
